A Sephora Haul

It was my first visit to America, so of course a shopping trip to Sephora was a must! I’d only ever been to the Sephora in Venice which was pretty small and lacking in a lot of the brands I’d been lusting after, so I made it my mission to get to the Mall at Millenia at some point during our honeymoon in Florida. I spent a good 2 hours in Sephora (apologies to my very patient husband who ended up waiting outside the shop eventually) and was so excited to pick up a few beauty bits. Here’s what I picked up in my Sephora haul..

I’ve wanted a Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush for the longest time, and after a lot of swatching I decided to go with the shade Exposed. To me Exposed is a gorgeous rosy bronze shade that is great for adding a lot more warmth to my fair skin, and works as both a blush and bronzer which is a massive plus!

I was also on the lookout for a high coverage concealer that would work its magic on both my undereyes and any pesky blemishes, and the lovely sales assistant matched me up to the Sephora Collection 8hr Wear Perfect Cover Concealer in Light (#10). I’ve always been a fan of cream concealers as they tend to last well on my skin, so I’m looking forward to testing this one out some more.

It may not be the most exciting Sephora purchase as Benefit is so readily available here, but I wanted to pick up my favourite mascara while I was there. The Benefit Roller Lash Mascara is one of the few that can actually curl my lashes and keep them curled all day, as well as adding the length and volume that my fair lashes definitely need!

Last but not least, I gave in and had a good nosy at the minis on offer while you’re waiting to pay. I ended up choosing the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Glow On the Go set. This set includes travel sizes of the Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal and the Shimmering Skin Perfector Spotlight Wand which is also in Opal, and it gave me the chance to try out one of the famous Becca highlighters without having to invest in a full size product.

I’m so excited to test these products out some more, and I’ll be sure to pop some reviews up when I do! I’d love to know – are you a fan of any of these goodies from Sephora?

  • Love the haul and isn’t it a must to go to Sephora while in America. Such a pretty blush shade and I absolutely love roller lash myself. Glad you’re back to blogging again.

  • I’ve wanted to try Tarte blushes for ages, hoping to get my hands on them in the summer when I go to Florida next year.

  • If I was to get over to a Sephora store or make an international order I would definitely go for a Tarte blush and some Kat Von D products would also have been a must but that little problem has been solved now! x
