Autumn goals

September 24, 2017

Now that Autumn is officially here (the colder weather was definitely in Scotland a few weeks early) I wanted to take the time to jot down a few of my goals for the next couple of months. Although I don’t expect myself to get through all of these, I find it’s always nice to have something to work towards – especially as we get closer to Christmas and things get very hectic! This Autumn season I’d very much like to…

Take more photos

I love to look back on photos and annoyingly I’ve really gotten out of the habit of having my camera to hand to capture memories. Whether it’s for the blog (I really should do something with my Instagram) or family memories that I’d love to cherish, I’d like to take lots more photos and even work on my photography/editing skills.

Keep working harder

I don’t talk about my job much on here, but I will say that I work in a very busy marketing department with lots of exciting things going on – especially at this time of year. It’s safe to say that I really do enjoy my job and my goal for Autumn is to keep giving my all and see where it takes me!

Buy my dream car

I’ve now been driving for 3 years and although I’ve really enjoyed my first car – a fiery red Fiesta that’s made me love driving more and more – I think it’s about time to move on. When I was much younger I decided that one day I’d own a Mini Cooper, and I’m hoping to make this a reality very soon which excites me far too much!

Post every day

For the last couple of weeks I’ve been planning my comeback to blogging, and for some mad reason I’ve set myself the goal of posting every single day. The posts have been planned and the photos have been taken, so there really is no excuse to not stick to this. Blogging has always been a big part of my life although it has had to take a bit of a back seat in the past due to the wedding, moving house and being extra busy at work, so I really want to give it my best. Go big or go home, eh?

I’d love to know – what are your goals this Autumn?
