There are a few hyped beauty products that I’ve been meaning to get my hands on for years, and Benefit Hoola was definitely one of them. For such a long time I opted for cheap and cheerful bronzers but last year I finally decided to bite the bullet and add Hoola to my Christmas list. I’ve been the biggest fan of other Benefit boxed powders for years (Hervana, Coralista and Bella Bamba, I’m looking at you!) so it was only right that I tried another powder from Benefit. It’s safe to say that Hoola is a good ‘un!
The first thing that I look for in a bronzer is a shade that isn’t too warm or orange looking as my pale skin can easily look overdone with bronzer. Thankfully Hoola is the perfect shade as it’s not too warm and not too ashy, and works as both an all-over bronzer and contour. Paired with the fact that Hoola is completely matte, it really is the perfect bronzer in my eyes. The powder is nicely pigmented but is so easy to blend, and I’ve loved applying it using my new Zoeva 110 Face Shape Brush (review coming soon).
Some may find Hoola a bit pricey at £23.50 but I couldn’t recommend the boxed powders enough as they really do last a long time – a few of the Benefit blushers that have been in my stash for years still have so much product left inside!
