Dot Creates | The Ultimate Blog Planner

August 18, 2017

I’m back and well rested after a lovely week spent in Rhodes, so it’s about time I got writing again! While I was away I definitely felt my inspiration for blogging coming back (it has somehow been 2 months since my last post) and what better way to get back into it than with a review of my new blogging essential – the Ultimate Blog Planner from Dot Creates. In the end I decided to go for the peach version, but you can also pick up the planner in grey as well as a cute spotty design.

After spending some time getting to grips with the planner and jotting down my thoughts from while I was away, I can safely say that this book ticks all the boxes for me when it comes to planning and organising. First thing’s first, the planner is A5 which makes it the perfect size for keeping on my desk when inspiration strikes, or popping in my handbag when I’m out and about. The planner is spiral bound which makes it so easy to use, as well as looking much more premium than other blogging planners I’ve come across in the past.

The Ultimate blog Planner comes with plenty of undated pages (192 to be precise) which are set out perfectly for planning blog posts – lots of room to jot down notes on individual posts as well as tick boxes to make sure the copy, photos and links are all ready to go before publishing.

I’m not 100% sure on how I’ll use the extra boxes at the bottom of each planning page.. possibly a way to track social media promotion too. Inside you’ll also find sections for recording sponsored content, social media stats and events which will come in so handy.

I like that the planner is split into months (again, undated so you’re not wasting any pages by not writing in it every single day) and each month starts with a fab hand drawn quote to really get you inspired!

The paper used inside is of a lovely and thick quality (120gsm) and what’s also great is that the planner is protected by clear plastic covers on both sides so you don’t need to worry about it getting damaged when you’re out and about.

All in all this is an amazing blog planner that I now couldn’t see myself without, and I think it’s a total bargain at just £12.50! Make sure you check out Dot Creates for the Ultimate Blog Planners, as well as lots of lovely prints and other stationery goodies. Do you use a blog planner to get yourself organised?
