Don’t you just love when you’re out shopping and casually come across a brand new Lush store that’s just opened that day. That’s what happened on my last trip to the Glasgow Fort a few weeks back, and boy was I excited to stock up on some new Lush goodies – especially as my birthday was the very next day. Here’s what I picked up..
I’ll admit that I tend to gravitate more towards bubble bars as you get a lot more baths out of them (I sometimes find myself getting at least 10 out of some bars) and are much better value for money in my ways. For bubble bars, I ended up choosing the Poisson D’Avril (a fish shaped bar with a lovely cinnamon scent), Baa Bar (the cutest sheep shaped bubble bar with a soothing lavendar scent) and Creamy Candy (an old favourite that smells of candy floss, yum).
I also decided to pick up a couple of bath bombs; Rocket Science (a space ship that includes refreshing lemon and bergamot) and The Experimenter (one that I’ve had my eye on for ages, with so many amazing colours inside and even includes some popping candy).
Last but not least, I wanted to give my hair a treat so I finally popped a pot of Big Sea Salt Shampoo in my basket. Now that my hair is shorter, I’m always on the lookout for products that will really give my roots some oomph, and so far that’s exactly what Big is doing for my hair. I’ll report back with a full review soon enough, so keep your eyes peeled for that!
I’d love to know – have you picked up anything from Lush lately?
