MAC Lipstick in Nippon

It’s become a bit of a tradition to pick up a new MAC lipstick whenever I go on holiday, so of course I had to pop into a MAC store in Florida and add a new lippie to my collection. After plenty of switching I decided to go for Nippon, a shade that I’d never seen before but instantly fell in love with!

Nippon is described by MAC as a “creamy mid-tone coral pink” and I’d definitely agree, although I’d say it’s more pink than it is coral. I find this to be such an easy colour to wear as it’s quite muted but still adds a lovely pop of pink, and is a great one for everyday wear as it goes with just about everything.

Another reason why I was quick to pick up Nippon was because it has a Cremesheen formula – one of my favourites from MAC. Nippon is super creamy and has a beautiful sheen thanks to the very subtle gold shimmer running through it. I love that this particular lipstick instantly brightens up any makeup look thanks to the lovely sheen, and it’s one that I can see myself reaching for all year round. Cremesheens don’t tend to have the best wear-time because of their really creamy formula, but I certainly don’t mind reapplying every now and again as it’s well worth it!
