You’ll probably know by now that I’m not the most adventurous when it comes to lip colour and would happily don pinky nudes for the rest of my life, so when I fall in love with a lipstick you better believe it lives in my handbag and gets plenty of wear. This was certainly the case for today’s lipstick in question – the Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Naked – but unfortunately it managed to find its way into my dressing table drawer and was out of sight for far too long. Luckily I’ve rediscovered this beauty, and wanted to tell you why I’m so glad to have it back in my handbag!
For anyone that didn’t manage to try the Revolution lipstick range before it was sadly discontinued (I’ll get onto that in a bit..), the lipsticks are very creamy and moisturising, but still manage to add a beautiful colour to the lips and stay put for hours. It was no surprise that I picked up the shade Naked as it’s the perfect pinky toned nude that really looks like my lips but better, and I couldn’t be happier to have rediscovered it.
I was sad to read that the Revolution lipstick range has now been discontinued, but it turns out these lipsticks were making way for a much bigger collection of lipsticks – the Vice range. The great news is that a number of the colours in the Revolution range have been repackaged for the Vice range, and Naked just happened to be one of them! If you want to try Naked for yourself, make sure you head to Debenhams where the Naked Vice lipstick range currently has 30% off and this includes all 6 finishes – Mega Matte, Comfort Matte, Metallized, Sheer, Sheer Shimmer and Cream. Urban Decay lipsticks for £10.85? I’m there!
