Post-party season skincare

‘Tis the season to party and enjoy plenty of food. I hope you all had a great time celebrating Christmas and New Year with your favourite people, but now, sadly, it’s time to get back to work and make up for a week of over-indulging. I’ve pulled together a few of my skincare favourites that would be perfect for some much needed TLC.

When my skin is in need of a proper cleanse, I always turn to the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish. This hot clot cleanser does an amazing job of removing all my makeup and leaving my skin feeling squeaky clean, but is also incredibly gentle and great for more sensitive skin.

I may have gotten a bit lazy with my skincare routine over the Christmas holidays, so a purifying mask is a must! The Kiko Peeling Mask is my go-to when my pores are clogged, and what I love is that it leaves my skin feeling super smooth without drying it out.

If you’re having trouble with blemishes after the festive period, look no further than La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo [+]. Apply this serum on any problem areas in the mornings and evenings and the blemishes will be gone before you know it!

If your skincare routine wouldn’t be complete without a toner, make sure you give the B. Refreshed Essence Lotion a try. Add a little bit of this lotion to a cotton pad and sweep across the face after cleansing, and your skin will be left feeling super soft and hydrated.

Last but not least, it wouldn’t be a post-party skincare routine without an incredibly hydrating moisturiser. My favourite has to be The Body Shop Vitamin E Sink-In Moisture Mask as it leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and so nourished.

I’d love to know – what are your current skincare must-haves?
