It has been far too long since I last posted so I’m excited to be back with a beauty post! I’ve had a few new products to try out since I got back from Florida and the first on my list to review was the Sephora Collection 8hr Wear Perfect Cover Concealer (a bit of a mouthful, I know). I picked up this concealer after being pointed in its direction by the lovely sales assistant in Sephora, and I haven’t looked back since.
I was matched to the shade Light (#10) which is perfect for the paler gals out there as it blends out to a very fair and neutral colour that still covers well. As you can tell from the photos, this is a cream concealer but I’m happy to report back that it’s in no way too thick or cakey for everyday use. This particular concealer is great for covering blemishes and redness, although I’d probably recommend sticking to a liquid concealer for under the eyes as this one might drag a bit too much for such a sensitive area of skin.
Although the concealer has quite a solid consistency when you first go to use it, it doesn’t take much effort to soften it up with your fingertip and smooth over the skin. The coverage of this concealer is fab as it covers everything well but still manages to look natural on the skin, and it also lasts me a whole working day without budging so I’d agree with Sephora’s claim of 8 hour wear.
The Sephora Collection 8hr Wear Perfect Cover Concealer may not be the most accessible for us here in the UK, but if you’re near a Sephora then I’d definitely recommend giving it a go!
