I thought it was about time I finally gushed about one of my most worn lipsticks, so here goes! For the longest time I longed for a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick of my own after reading so many rave reviews, and finally decided to bite the bullet and add Bitch Perfect to my stash. I tend to gravitate to neutrals when it comes to makeup so this shade was a no brainer and it’s no surprise that the beautiful packaging had me sold straight away.
I’ve come to find that Bitch Perfect is one of those lipstick shades that looks different on everyone, and on me it definitely pulls much more of a rosy nude. I’ve seen others wear it and it looks a lot more pink or even coral, but it tends to look a bit darker against my paler skin which I like as it’s a nice change from my usual. Bitch Perfect is such an easy-to-wear colour that’s perfect for just about every occasion, and it’s the one I tend to grab in the mornings when I’m leaving for work.
The K.I.S.S.I.N.G formula claims to provide rich colour and a luminous finish, and I can definitely agree as the colour packs a real punch with a lovely satin sheen to it. Matte lipsticks tend to dry my lips out too much so I’m always more likely to pick up creamy and nourishing formulas, and this one has to be one of my favourites. The lipstick has great staying power despite it being so creamy and is so comfortable to wear.
The Charlotte Tilbury makeup range does come with a hefty price tag (this lipstick is currently £24) but I think it’s a brand that would be perfect if you’re looking to treat yourself or want to pop something special on your list for birthdays or Christmas. I’ve been so impressed with Bitch Perfect, not only for the beautiful formula and colour, but the beautiful packaging that makes me feel so glam when I pull it my makeup bag. I can definitely see myself picking up more from the Charlotte Tilbury lipstick range (Pillow Talk, I’m looking at you) so keep your eyes peeled for that!
