Christmas 2015 saw me finally jump on the Marc Jacobs perfume bandwagon (Daisy Eau So Fresh really is a beauty), and I’m very happy to have added another fragrance to my collection in the form of Honey! I was very lucky to receive it as a surprise birthday present from my parents a couple of weeks back, and I’ve been addicted ever since.
Can I start with this beautiful bottle?! Just when I thought the Marc Jacobs packaging couldn’t get any cuter with daisies, the addition of bees was just too much to handle. The polka dot design of the bottle is right up my street and although this 50ml bottle was a little bit smaller than I expected, it would be a good size for travelling if you needed to take a full size perfume with you.
Now let’s get on to the most important part, the fragrance..
Marc Jacobs Honey is a gorgeous mix of fruity and floral notes, and it’s a sweet yet fresh scent that will be absolutely perfect for the summer time! Honey has top notes of pear, mandarin and orange; middle notes of honeysuckle, orange blossom and peach; and base notes of honey, vanilla and smooth woods. What’s even better is that a couple of spritzes of this perfume lasts all day so a little really does go a long way when it comes to Honey!
