Sabai Soaps | Sesame Scrub

I’m going to be honest, I can’t remember the last time I washed my skin with soap! I’ve become so accustomed to shower gels, body washes and just about anything in liquid form that traditional soap seemed like a thing of the past, but this all changed when I recently tried out this natural soap from Sabai Soaps.

Sabai Soaps came about due to co-founder Gavin Thorpe’s love of Asia, and in particular Thailand. Gavin met a Thai family whose small family-run business involved making natural soaps by hand, and in that moment Sabai was born. Sabai is Thai for “happy”, “comfortable” and “relaxed” – the emotions hoped their soaps would create when used. Sabai Soaps allow these traditional and natural Thai soaps to be sold and enjoyed in the UK, and I was lucky enough to be sent their Sesame Scrub Soap*.

First things first, the Thai print packaging is such a lovely touch and one that makes this product even more suitable for gifting. If you ever have that friend or relative that appreciates lots of lovely little gifts, these soaps could be just the thing you need.

Sesame Scrub, along with the rest of the soaps in the range, is 100% natural and cruelty free which is a massive plus. Sesame Scrub contains the oils of sesame, spearmint and eucalyptus to provide a hydrating, rejuvenating and soothing soap that is lovely to use as it lathers up easily and leaves skin feeling super soft and hydrated after use. The spearmint scent does a great job of waking me up in the morning as it’s strong but not too overpowering, and the eucalyptus is great if you’re suffering from sore muscles after the occasional gym class like me!

If you’re looking to treat yourself or are on the lookout for lovely gift ideas, I’d definitely recommend having a nosey on the Sabai Soaps website where you’ll find their full range of organic, olive oil and vegan soaps.
