My thoughts on Bumble and Bumble

Bumble and Bumble is a haircare brand that I used to hear about all the time, but always avoided as I didn’t believe the online hype could justify such pricey products. That was until I received a set of travel sized products to try a couple of Christmases ago, and it has been a slippery slope since then as I’ve become well and truly hooked. I wanted to go through a few of my favourites from the brand as I really do believe they’re worth the investment!

Sunday Shampoo.. when you’re looking for squeaky clean hair, nothing else comes close to this. It may be a bit on the pricey side, but as it’s only used once a week it lasts a hell of a long time! I love that this shampoo lathers so easily which makes the bottle last even longer, and my hair has never looked cleaner on a Sunday night.

Thickening Hairspray.. perfect for those with limp and lifeless hair, it adds lots of lovely volume with very little effort. Just pop a few sprays on the roots when your hair is damp, blow dry and then admire your bouncy locks! I’ve now finished my little sample bottle and will definitely be repurchasing the full size when I feel like having a splurge.

Surf Spray.. if you’re after beachy waves with lots of texture, this spray is definitely the answer. I don’t tend to reach for this as much as my other Bumble and Bumble products as I prefer a smoother finish, but I’m looking forward to trying it out more in the summer months.

Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Primer.. for those that want to tame frizz while also protecting the hair from heat damage. Working a couple of pumps of this oil through my damp hair has made such a difference as I’m left with much healthier looking hair.

All Style Blow Dry.. perfect if you’re looking for more out of your blow dry. This product is much like the Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Primer as it tames frizz and acts as a heat protectant, but I find that it also keeps my hair looking full and bouncy for longer after blow drying.

Pret-a-Powder.. the product to reach for when you want to add oooomph to your hair. I’m a regular when it comes to using dry shampoo as I have oily-prone roots and try to extend the time between washes, but I tend to save this little pot for special ocassions as it’s a dry shampoo and volumising style extender combined.

Does It All Styling Spray.. it does exactly what it says on the bottle. I was under the impression that this was just a hairspray but I’ve now come to know it as the spray of many uses. I use this product to hold my hair in place after styling, as well as to tame fly-aways and give my hair (particularly at the roots) even more of a boost after curling.

If you have any other Bumble and Bumble recommendations then please let me know as I’d love to try more!
