Unloved products making a comeback #2

I thought it was about time that I updated my list of unloved products in my collection that are making a comeback (#1 can be found here). I’ve found myself switching up my everyday selection of makeup in my beloved Cath Kidston makeup bag a lot recently and thought it would be fitting to talk about the products that I’d forgotten all about but have been getting some love lately.
The Topshop Cream Blush in Head Over Heels took the blogging world by storm last year and I was quick to snap one up when they were re-released last summer, although it sadly found its way to the back of my blusher drawer. Fast forward to now and I’ve really been getting back into using cream blushers with this one being at the top of my list. The peachy/coral shade is just gorgeous and leaves such a natural finish on the skin, with me getting very excited for using it again in the summer time.
I’ve recently mentioned that I’d rediscovered my Sleek Contour Kit and had to give it a mention in this post too. I’ve really been getting back into the swing of contouring and highlighting my face and this little kit has been the perfect product for that. The matte bronzer shade goes so well with my pale skin and the highlight is such a great way to give your cheeks a pretty glow.
Next up is the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse foundation which I actually mentioned in my first unloved products post, but naughty me managed to push it to the back of my drawer again (oops). I’ve really made it my mission to finish this jar of foundation as it has been working well with my skin which has turned quite oily lately for some reason. It gives a fair but build-able coverage and has been great for controlling the shine on my fine throughout the day, although I wouldn’t recommend this foundation for anyone with very dry skin as it is a dry formula and would probably cling to dry patches. Never a good look!
The Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub is another product that I fell in love with but soon forgot about as I think I was just too lazy to apply it on a regular basis. With a few changes to my evening skincare routine I decided that it was about time I make myself use this product to give my dry lips a good scrub, and being able to taste the bubblegum flavour is a big bonus.
The MUA Extreme Volume Mascara is a product that I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned on the blog and this was really down to the fact that I wasn’t impressed and certainly didn’t think it gave my lashes any more volume. I’ve completely changed my mind though due to the fact that I now curl my lashes everyday, with this mascara adding plenty of volume and definition to my curled lashes. It probably wasn’t fair to base it solely on my natural lashes which really are so short and straight!
The final product is more a general one, with this being lilac nail polishes. I used to be obsessed with lilac nails and would rotate all of my lilac polishes (which of course are all different in one way or another I tell myself), but with autumn and winter on their way I quickly replaced these with darker and more neutral shades. I’m now very happy to be sporting lilac nails again and have been constantly admiring my nails since then, with Topshop Parma Violet being my lilac shade of choice right now.
Are there any unloved products that you’ve found yourself reaching for again?
